Ochoa - Montilla and the siters Mazorra winers of the Ocean Park - Grade 4
Just when you thought Beach Tennis couldn't get any better, a G-4 event was held this past weekend in Ocean Park Beach, Puerto Rico. It was fun, it was family, it was friends, it was sport, it had love, it had emotions.
Action started on Saturday morning with Men's Open Doubles, Pro and Intermediate Levels. Now back-to-back champions Pedro Ochoa and Gabriel Montilla were able to win the title over Gary Bodon and Luis Lafontaine. On the Women's Pro Level side, the sisters Natalia and Maite Mazora made sure that their past victory over Beatriz Rivera and Sasha Verret was no mistake, with the score of 6-2, 6-1.
Agreement between Tecnifibre and the Catalonia Federation of Beach Tennis.
Tecnifibre has been for two years the official ball for all tournaments played in Catalonia.
For Beach Tennis and Gym Racket the ball of choice is the model "mini" 50% slower, and for Racket Volley the "My New Ball" 75% slower.
The president of Catalan Federation, Mr. Joan Egea, explained that "We have chosen Tecnifibre because it is an important French brand with experience in making quality balls".
