Sardinia hosts again the European Championships

el .

europeo 2018Sardinia solidifies itself as the headquarter of the European Championships. This event will be held in Muravera (Sardinia) from September 13 to 16, and will have a spectacular growth in the number of delegations and the number of players.
Many local players and players from the Italian peninsula will participate in the tournament.

It is worth mentioning the great Catalan participation with twenty-two athletes, Poland with twelve, Lithuania with eight, as well as delegations from Estonia, Germany, Norway, Austria and Hungary and others who will participate in the various open categories and tournament for Nations.
The large participation of countries this year is the results of the creation of the new federations in Europe. In the coming months there will also be an increase of number of tournaments in the world calendar.
In addition successes in Europe we must include the great expansion that IFBT is taking in America.
Many federations were recently opened in South America, Central and North. This development began in Brazil and then in other countries like Chile, Argentina, Peru, Uruguay, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela.
New York and Canada have completed a broad map in the United States with Florida, California and St. Louis (Missouri).
IFBT has also been present for years in Puerto Rico and Mexico.
The Brazilian Confederation of Beach Tennis successfully organized the first Pan American Championship, and soon will organize the Four Nations Cup in Chile.
The expansion of the IFBT continues!
